The enclosed construction keeps lubrication in and contaminants out, while the body is 60,000 PSI tensile ductile iron for mass and strength. The locking swivel base with 360 degrees of rotation is enhanced by a serrated base with double lockdowns and four mounting posts, to make sure there will be no slip in any position. A precision thrust bearing creates greater clamping pressure and increases longevity. The extra deep throat gives you more room where it counts. The alloy steel slide bar adds strength and is keyed for a precision fit.
