Greenshields developed the LPTD in cooperation with the City of Everett Fire Department, for transportation of large patients in emergency situations. The LPTD7X8S meets the specifications of the Fire Department of New York (FDNY). It is a larger size with Shelterite lining. The LPTD is rated for up to 4500 lb WLL and can accomodate up to 24 EMS personnel to make the lift. The LPTD is designed for vertical basket lifts. The LPTD is designed to be easily stored in a small space.
