Aeroquip FT1211-2-3 Faceplate for Aeroquip FT1211 Dogleg Assembly Machine
The FT1211-2-3 Faceplate is designed to only assemble straight captive flanged fittings, especially medium pressure. The Faceplate is installed by removing any rotating vise inserts, aligning the Faceplate hex with the vise, aligning the pins on the hex with the holes in the jaws and securely clamping the rotating vise onto the Faceplate hex. The Faceplate has four movable tapped holes and several tapped holes in fixed positions. Flanges with 2, 3 and 4 bolt holes should have all bolts tightened during assembly. Flange with 6 and 8 bolt holes should have every other bolt in place during assembly.
NOTE: 7 bolt flanges must be assembled with the Potchuck. Several ring grooves are present on the Faceplate to aid in centering a fitting prior to assembly. ALWAYS START THE MACHINE AND CHECK TO ENSURE THE FITTING IS CENTERED ON THE FACEPLATE PRIOR TO ASSEMBLY. IF A FITTING IS SEVERELY OFF CENTER AND ASSEMBLY IS ATTEMPTED, DAMAGE TO THE MACHINE MAY RESULT. Do not attempt to assemble or disassemble high pressure fittings with the Faceplate.
